Terms of Service

Spinning Plates is a personal assistant that works over WhatsApp, operated by Hesta AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"). These terms explain the deal between you and us when you use Spinning Plates. Like our privacy policy, we keep them in plain English on purpose.
What Spinning Plates is
Spinning Plates helps you with everyday life admin over WhatsApp — things like reminders, email, your calendar, and other tasks you ask it to help with. You can optionally connect other accounts (such as Google or Oura) to unlock more features. By messaging Spinning Plates or connecting an account, you agree to these terms.
Spinning Plates is an early-stage product. It works well most of the time, but it is still in active development and things will occasionally break, change, or behave unexpectedly. Please treat it accordingly — and tell us when something goes wrong.
Who can use it
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must use your own WhatsApp number and only connect accounts that belong to you.
- Access is currently by invitation while we're in early testing. We may add, change, or close access to features as the product develops.
Using Spinning Plates sensibly
Spinning Plates is powered by AI models, and AI makes mistakes. It can misunderstand you, get facts wrong, or do a task differently than you intended. So:
- Check anything important. Don't rely on Spinning Plates alone for decisions involving money, health, legal matters, travel bookings, or deadlines that really matter.
- Spinning Plates is not professional advice. Nothing it says is medical, legal, or financial advice. Health-related features (such as Oura data) are for general wellbeing information only.
- Actions on your accounts are yours. When you ask Spinning Plates to do something with a connected account — like sending an email you've approved — you're responsible for that action, just as if you'd done it yourself.
What you agree not to do
- Use Spinning Plates for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
- Try to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Use Spinning Plates to spam or harass other people.
- Resell or provide the service to others without our agreement.
If you do these things, we can suspend or close your access, immediately if necessary.
Connected services
If you connect a third-party account (such as Google or Oura), your use of that service remains governed by its own terms, and you can disconnect it at any time. How we handle data from connected services is covered in our privacy policy.
Fees
Spinning Plates is currently free for invited testers. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you clearly and in advance, and you'll never be charged without agreeing to it first.
Your content
Your messages and your data stay yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to run Spinning Plates for you, as described in our privacy policy. The Spinning Plates service itself — its software, design, and branding — belongs to Hesta AI Ltd.
Ending things
You can stop using Spinning Plates at any time — just stop messaging it, or ask us to delete your data and we will. We can suspend or end the service (or your access to it) if you break these terms, if we're required to by law, or if we discontinue the product; if we discontinue it, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can get anything you need out first.
Our responsibility to you
We provide Spinning Plates with reasonable skill and care, but as an early-stage product it comes "as is" — we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that its AI outputs will be accurate. To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by relying on Spinning Plates's output without checking it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited (such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence), and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll update this page and note the new date at the top. For significant changes, we'll tell you on WhatsApp first. Carrying on using Spinning Plates after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Legal bits
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — though if you're a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you keep the protections and court access of your home nation. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
